I forgot to say that all the drdb devices are synced between the 2 nodes through a cross cable. The latest stable version for our busy smp cluster seems to be drbd-0.7.11. Another strange thing happens with drbd-0.7.15: 2 or 3 of the 6 drbd devices, when switching from primary to secondary while mounted, drbd complains that there is some i/o in use, even if the command fuser doesn't show any process using them. This didn't happen with drbd-0.7.11, and happens with drbd-0.7.15 only after some days of use of the primary partitions and only for some of them. Is it a wanted behaviour?
