[DRBD-user] Using symlinks to mirror data of system directories...

direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

Hi all,

I have already tested data mirroring on a 2 node Heartbeat cluster on
a partition mounted
on a disk used for DRBD (like /dev/hda6) and it's OK.
Now I would like to make data mirroring on a system directory (like
/ect/ha.d/ /etc/mon/ ...)
with DRBD on Debian HA cluster. To do this, one have to use symbolic links.
Do you think this can be performed by something like that :
mkdir /drbdmount
ln -sd /etc/mon/ /drbdmount
(s for symbolic, and d for hard link directories (super-user only))

Is it necessary to install Debian package drbdlinks ? (drbdlinks comes from
unstable distribution of Debian).

Is there something to change when mounting the partition with the
script Filesystem
used in the Heartbeat haresource file ?

Do you have any suggestion ?
Thanks for the help.

Fabrice
