After installing the Hewlett Packard server monitoring agents, DRBD takes around 2 minutes to startup/shutdown. It appears stuck in modprobe/rmmod. This problem exists on several DRBD cluster with similar hardware configuration. DRBD seems to perform as normal after kernel module is loaded. Has anyone seen this problem? root 3094 1346 0 14:32 ? 00:00:00 initlog -q -c /etc/rc3.d/S99drbd start root 3095 3094 0 14:32 ? 00:00:00 /bin/bash /etc/rc3.d/S99drbd start root 3098 3095 0 14:32 ? 00:00:00 modprobe -s drbd minor_count=2 /proc/drbd while modprobe is still running version: 0.7.13 (api:77/proto:74) SVN Revision: 1942 build by root at host-1, 2005-09-27 09:56:20 0: cs:Unconfigured 1: cs:Unconfigured Log shows almost 2 minute delay during initialisation.
