disks/controller ?

I guess it is not SCSI, I guess it is not IDE, right ?

DRBD needs in its meta-data operations atomic updates of rather small units
of data on disk. Therefore DRBD's meta-data layout is somewhat optimized
for IO Subsystems with a sector-size (=small possible block size) of
512 byte.
