Hi Campbell, In DRBD 0.7x you nolonger use datadisk to manage the drbd device. Instead you use drbddisk to ready the drbd device and then Filesystem to mount the drbd device haresources file should look something like this :- servername drbddisk::drbd0 Filesystem::/dev/drbd0::/drbd0::ext3 'cluster ip '/16 postgresql apache samba Regards Kevin Hi, We are running DRBD 0.7.4 and heartbeat 1.2.2, and there is problem with heartbeat starting DRBD. In the 'ha-debug' file, it reports the following problems: --- datadisk: pre-parsed needs update, parsing /etc/drbd.conf ............................................................ ........................................................... last token read from </etc/drbd.conf> was 119: protocol C; ^^^^^^^^ resource 'r0': need value for 'protocol'. did you forget the = sign? stopped at /etc/ha.d/resource.d/datadisk (check_token_type) line 668. CVSID Id: drbd,v 1.55 2004/03/04 07:38:18 lars Exp BASH_VERSINFO (2 05a 0 1 release i386-pc-linux-gnu) If you feel this script is buggy, please report to Lars Ellenberg <l.g.e at web.de>, drbd-user at lists.linbit.com heartbeat: 2004/09/23_00:59:44 debug: /etc/ha.d/resource.d/datadisk drbd0 start done. RC=255 /usr/lib/heartbeat/ResourceManager: status: command not found --- I suspect that it is looking for an old (i.e., pre 0.7.x) style config file for DRBD, since it is looking for an '='. But this may be a problem with heartbeat. Does anyone know what the solution to this issue is? Or should I be posting to HA lists....?
