Hi, I just upgraded to 0.7.4. Before I had the metadata internally and now thought I try the external one on one node. So I deleted the partitions which I was using for testing purposes. Then I started drbd on both of my nodes and the resync began. Everything worked just fine but now I have one node saying cat /proc/drbd: version: 0.7.4 (api:76/proto:74) SVN Revision: 1537M build by pete at test, 2004-09-17 15:31:35 0: cs:Connected st:Secondary/Secondary ld:Consistent ns:0 nr:22916691 dw:22916691 dr:0 al:0 bm:2798 lo:0 pe:0 ua:0 ap:0 (That's a dual Xeon with 1 Gig Ram, Kernel 2.6.8.1, metadata on a seperate partition) And on the other node: version: 0.7.4 (api:76/proto:74) SVN Revision: 1537M build by pete at kernel.zmnh.uni-hamburg.de, 2004-09-17 15:49:38 0: cs:SyncSource st:Secondary/Secondary ld:Consistent ns:22916691 nr:0 dw:0 dr:22916691 al:0 bm:1399 lo:0 pe:0 ua:0 ap:0 [>....................] sync'ed: 0.0% (4194298/22374)M finish: 7660:25:04 speed: 620 (22,960) K/sec (That's a Dual PIII, also Kernel 2.6.8.1, 512 Megs Ram, metadata internal) There are only those two nodes, so what is he trying to resync with ? Do I have to have the same metadata setup on both nodes, so if I go for the separate metadata on one node do I have to choose it on the other one, too ?
