We are considering trying to run a high performance MySQL database on top of a DRBD mount. The underlying disks are a RAID-5 array of 15,000 RPM SCSI disks on a Dual Xeon 3.0ghz. Is anyone running MySQL on DRBD in a high performance setup? We would like to add the redundancy in hardware and increase our reliability but we do not want to sacrifice performance. Our database is ~2gigs in size and growing and our machines each have 4gigs of ram but can support 8gigs. Thanks for any insight or advice, david
