I've started some work with a CVS checkout of the 0.7 tree, from 2004/05/17. Last night I got a panic on one node. I'm not certain that this is a DRBD problem, but it seems to be the most likely place, since it's the only "experimental" kernel mod I'm using here. Here's the console message for the panic I got. Let me know if there is any other info that would be helpful: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 80c88831 printing eip: c0134fc7 *pde = 00000000 Oops: 0002 [#1] CPU: 0 EIP: 0060:[<c0134fc7>] Not tainted EFLAGS: 00010002 (2.6.6a) EIP is at free_block+0x48/0xc8 eax: 80c8882d ebx: d3b8a000 ecx: d3b8ab7c edx: d9540000 esi: dffd7b00 edi: 00000000 ebp: dffd7b0c esp: c033fedc ds: 007b es: 007b ss: 0068 Process swapper (pid: 0, threadinfo=c033e000 task=c02cca40) Stack: df6bf800 3a60532c dffd7b1c dffd6e00 00000001 dffd6e10 dffd729c c0135553 dffd7b00 dffd6e10 00000001 dffd7b00 00000002 dffd7b70 c013568c dffd7b00 dffd6e00 00000000 c011db27 c0135635 c0376b04 c033ff48 c033ff48 c011dbf4 Call Trace: [<c0135553>] drain_array+0x69/0x9d [<c013568c>] reap_timer_fnc+0x57/0x179 [<c011db27>] update_process_times+0x46/0x52 [<c0135635>] reap_timer_fnc+0x0/0x179 [<c011dbf4>] run_timer_softirq+0xab/0x167 [<c011dd99>] do_timer+0xdf/0xe4 [<c011a426>] __do_softirq+0x7e/0x80 [<c011a44e>] do_softirq+0x26/0x28 [<c01078cd>] do_IRQ+0xc4/0xdf [<c0105f14>] common_interrupt+0x18/0x20 [<c0103871>] default_idle+0x23/0x26 [<c01038cf>] cpu_idle+0x2c/0x35 [<c03406f8>] start_kernel+0x171/0x1b0 [<c034044b>] unknown_bootoption+0x0/0x110 Code: 89 50 04 89 02 c7 43 04 00 02 20 00 2b 4b 0c c7 03 00 01 10 <0>Kernel panic: Fatal exception in interrupt In interrupt handler - not syncing
