I'm not sure how to change that either. As this is RedHat, making your own custom kernel will always name it differently I think. But, there were no errors during the install, but I can't help but think that this is the cause of my problems, as can be seen below. > <SNIP> > drbd: ERROR: modprobe -s drbd minor_count=1 [255]: > drbd: ERROR: NO OUTPUT > > Can not load the drbd module. > > I'm pretty much stuck here. Both machines do this. I can't even get drbdsetup to run right, but I don't know if it's related to this or not. When I try, I get this: > <SNIP> Basicly you probably don't have the module comiled for the kernel you are running. Assuming you are trying to run the stock fedora kernel I would suggest reading the thread attached to http://lists.linbit.com/pipermail/drbd-user/2004-February/000203.html and making note that fedora kernels are compiled with `export CC=gcc32` set. the reason you see the module under /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2174.nptlcustom is the installed kernel make file needs modified to set 'EXTRAVERSION = -1.2174.nptl'. -- Todd Denniston Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) Harnessing the Power of Technology for the Warfighter
