Hi Lars Ellenberg et al.,
I tried to use a large SCSI disk with drbd and the drbd startup skript. The first trial (Debian Testing, drbd 0.6.12) ended up with a

###############
[...]
usage: multiply $N by $F
stopped at /etc/init.d/drbd (multiply) line 1020.
[...]
###############

and I found the hint about using fdisk -s instead of blockdev --getsize (and/or checking out the latest drbd skript from cvs) int the mailing list.

I did the latter and now I got:

###############
poolserver1:/etc/init.d# ./drbd start
drbd: pre-parsed needs update, parsing /etc/drbd.conf
............................................................

drbd: configured --disk-size=1637357552k for 'drbd0' is too large
drbd: 1637357552 > -510126096 kB
drbd: stopped at ./drbd (check_disk) line 1095.
drbd:

so even fdisk -s will not work...:

#############
poolserver1:~# fdisk -s /dev/sdb1
-510126096

(I had no problem to partition this disk with the same fdisk version...).

Do you known this problem? Only workaround: commenting out the size checking lines in the drbd skript, or do you have any other idea?

Thanks + bye,
Stefan Friedel
