You forgot to mention one important bug fix:
  * fix for timeout when asender is dead

If the asender thread "goes away", but the syncer/currently
sending process does not notice, the primary could be "stalled",
retrying to send a data package for a full tcp stack timeout,
which feels like "forever". This situation could be reproduced.
This was real bug, and has been fixed.

So maybe you should consider to upgrade anyways during the next
scheduled maintenance period.
