[Csync2] some tests not passing for me

I was able to set up csync2 git hash 4c8bf2e2 correctly between two
machines, but when I check out master, build, and run

prove -v tests/t/0000.basic.t

I see that a bunch of tests are failing:
not ok 5 - list db 1
not ok 8 - list db 2
not ok 12 - list dirty 2
not ok 13 - csync2 -T
not ok 17 - diff -rq
not ok 25 - diff -rq

Does this ring any bells?
