I've compiled csync2 2.0rc1 and it got the same problems with
v2.0 running on both wheezy and squeeze.
I've fixed/worked around the problems by creating certs using
openssl on squeeze and cp them to the wheezy server.
When certs are created from squeeze, you can use them on wheezy
and so csync2 between squeeze and wheezy.
When you create certs on wheezy, you have to create them for the
old servers too.
