the csdb stuff would be a starting point for abstraction,
if you want to clean it up. I did some of the merging and cleanup of
those old patches, but thats not publically available :(
I'll try to put the various branches online next week.
On the linbit side, Johannes has done some further work on csync2,
please Cc him on whatever you have.
