Can you include the sqlite3 patch provided in the mailing list to the current
csync2 codebase?
The problem with the sqlite2 is that as Linux distributions keep updating,
it's being left behind in favour of sqlite3.
Personally I'd prefer not to keep manually forcing an install of sqlite2
everytime I deploy a new server, just for csync2 (as it's the only package
that uses it). sqlite3 is installed by default on the distributions I run.
