Good afternoon group
I am still having a problem with Syncing some files. It seems that files
that are changed I have a problem with, yet files that are newly created
seem to work fine. Here is the output I get from csync -xvr
Connecting to host mmkcs1 (SSL) ...
Updating /etc/qmail/rcpthosts on mmkcs1 ...
While syncing file /etc/qmail/rcpthosts:
ERROR from peer mmkcs1: Open error while backing up
'/etc/qmail/rcpthosts': No such file or directory
Auto-resolving conflict: Won 'left/right' test.
Updating /etc/qmail/rcpthosts on mmkcs1 ...
While syncing file /etc/qmail/rcpthosts:
ERROR from peer mmkcs1:
ERROR: Auto-resolving failed. Giving up.
File stays in dirty state. Try again later...
Updating /etc/qmail/rcpthosts.lock on mmkcs1 ...
Format-error while receiving data.
To solve this problem, I have to go to the peer server mmkcs1 and delete
the file I want to sync and then run csync again. I have checked that
permissions and owners/groups are the same. The left/right test should
also let the right peer win, which is the peer I want to sync from. I am
also syncing three servers to one server, with no overlapping files.
Is there something I missed?
