yes. this also in mentioned in the documentation in section 7 "Security
Notes".

I also think that this would be a cool feature, but right now we (LINBIT
Information Technologies) don't need it and it is to much work to implement
it just for fun.
If you are using csync2 in a commercial environment and this is important
enough for you, I suggest you contact office at linbit.com about sponsoring
the development of this csync2 feature.
If this is not an option for you and you only have a few ACLs, you could
also use an "action" handler (see manual section 3.4.5) to automatically
set the ACLs after syncing (e.g. using the setfacl '--restore-file='
feature).
