<p>We're used to good old POSIX filesystem, and prefer this kind of
solution, but, it's not mandatory. <br>
</p>
<p>So, I'm currently running a test of minio (seems simpler than
drbd).</p>
<p>Thanks for your suggestion, if minio seems no ok, I think I will
get back for a test with drbd. <br>

The archive might indeed be one such application - since data in an archive is normally only written once and then only read whenever it is needed.
