<p>I cannot goahead and use the latest CentOS.</p>
<p>Am running one application in CentOS 6.3 (My Appln will support only 6.3). <br>
</p>
<p>But my requirement is to upgrade the kernal (<font size="2"><span style="font-size:10pt;">2.6.32-279.9.1.el6.x86_64</span></font>) . Whether existing drbd version(<font size="2"><span style="font-size:10pt;">drbd-kmdl-2.6.32-279.el6-8.3.11-31.el6.x86_64</span></font>)
will support for this Upgraded kernal or i need to upgrade my drbd version seperately?

To add to Trevor's comments;<br>
<br>
*Most* cases, you can do a clean update from 8.3 to 8.4, but a few<br>
things did change. If you must stay on 8.3, upgrade to the latest 8.3.16<br>
(or 8.3.17, if it was released).<br>
<br>
In any case, you should always have a test cluster. If you don't,<br>
please create one (even in VMs is better than nothing) to match the<br>
current version of your cluster and test the upgrade there first. We<br>
will never know your environment well enough to say "this is safe".<br>
<br>
If you want commercial support, LINBIT (the company behind DRBD)<br>
offers commercial support and official releases.<br>
