We've been running DRBD v8 since the opensuse 10.3 early betas.<br>and in production since the day it shipped.<br><br>It's been stable in our enterprise environment, no issues at all (knock on wood)<br><br>And I have to say, I prefer the v8 setup to the v0.7 one. v8 is just easier to get started, less steps, more straight-forward.<br>
<br>It took me about 5 minutes to get used to the changes from v0.7 to v8<br><br>eg no more "--do-what-I-say"<br><br>I'm currently lab-testing opensuse 11, let's just say so far it's been very interesting :)<br>

0.7 is ancient, i would not use it.<br><br>I would use 8.0 since its the 'stable' not ancient and the chance that<br>new features break some things does not exist (since there are no new<br>features. And if you are not intrested in new features... why 8.2 ? :)<br>
<br>But see the changelog of 8.0. The lasts releases dont look the more<br>stable a release could be. So i would use 8.0.8 if i dont find any<br>problem with that release (test it well), and if some new interesting<br>release comes out, i would consider upgrade. But i dont know, this is<br>
