Don't do that until the nodes are talking to each other. It still looks like the nodes aren't talking. The unknown in the status on both sides tells us that each one can't find the other one. The firewall is the most obvious reason so turn it off on both sides and see if it starts. If not, start checking the logs for errors/warnings. klint.
