Hi,

after upgrade to drbd-utils 8.9.1-3 I was unable to
setup drbd resource after upgrade:

$ service drbd start
Starting DRBD resources:
drbd.d/global_common.conf:18: al-extents 8k => 8192 out of range [7..6433].
.
$ drbdadm -d -v up vboximg
drbd.d/global_common.conf:18: al-extents 8k => 8192 out of range [7..6433].

$ drbdadm --version
DRBDADM_BUILDTAG=GIT-hash:\ 472e1c1314883416c7d82f9611004887446f6271\ Makefile.in\ configure.ac\ drbd.spec.in\ build\ by\ rfried at foo.bar\,\ 2014-08-11\ 10:55:57
DRBDADM_API_VERSION=1
DRBD_KERNEL_VERSION_CODE=0x080405
DRBDADM_VERSION_CODE=0x080901
DRBDADM_VERSION=8.9.1

I did create metadata with this cmd:
drbdadm -v -- --peer-max-bio-size 128k --al-stripes 16 --al-stripe-size-kB 64 create-md xxx

The primary is running 8.4.4-7:

resource vboximg {
    options {
    }
    _this_host {
        volume 0 {
            device                      minor 0;
            disk                        "/dev/vgdata/vboximg_drbd";
            meta-disk                   "/dev/vgdata/vboximg_drbdmeta";
            disk {
                on-io-error             pass_on;
                disk-flushes            no;
                md-flushes              no;
                resync-rate             93184k; # bytes/second
                al-extents              8192;
                c-plan-ahead            0; # 1/10 seconds
                c-fill-target           128s; # bytes
                c-max-rate              81920k; # bytes/second
                c-min-rate              5120k; # bytes/second
            }
        }
    }
}

Kind Regards, Roland
