If you are more interested in low latency and high number of concurrent access 
then plain throughput, our experience shows that a hdd with meta-data on ssd 
(or second hdd) gives far better results then only one hdd.

But when you can go with one ssd in each server for the whole drbd resource, 
that is fine too. Remember to only use 75-90% of the ssd...
