Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,

If you mean DRBD 8.4.x compatibility I was trying with Centos 6.3 but does
not support, I am now trying to Centos 6.2, kernel 2.6.32 and all is well
with DRBD 8.4.1.
