[DRBD-user] Setting up >16TB drive with 8.3.11

I was under the impression that 8.3.11 supported drives over 16TB in size, but when I run drbdadm create-md, it only creates a 16TB partition.  The partition I have is 30TB.

Can anyone offer some suggestions how I might create a single 30TB partition with 8.3.11 on CentOS 5.6?  I tried to use LVM2 to combine two DRBD volumes but the volume manager wouldn't recognize the drives correctly.
