[DRBD-user] What is the correct way to configure partitions for DRBD?

direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

You can use an already existing partition. If you're a first timer
you're probably better off with creating a new filesystem on top of
drbd.
Unmount and remove your partition from fstab. Then follow the drbd
user's guide at http://www.drbd.org/docs/install/ . This _will_ create
a new filesystem (like "mkfs.ext3 /dev/drbd0").
Additinally you'll need a cluster manager (heartbeat, pacemaker) or a
cluster filesystem.

goog luck,
