Hi,

I had this really weird problem and I just want to verify if I am
correct on this or not. I have kernel 2.6.23-r8 and I have the
kernel-userspace linker option compiled in that drbd requires. I am
able to compile and build drbd 8.0.8 without error. When I modprobe
drbd I kept getting Invalid Argument error.

I know this had something to do with a kernel config but not quite
clear.. so after some trial an error I found that removing VESA
FrameBuffer support from the kernel (which also would require the
kernel-userspace linker (I think)) solved the problem. The module just
loads normally now.

Anyone ever had this problem before ? did I do something by accident
or something heh ?
