That clarify's alot for me.
The only strugle i'm having is that i'm exporting the disks trough iSCSI.
Becaus of this i'm not sure if this could do any damage.
Also the problem is that certain partitions can contain a NTFS partition
type.

Like your setup i have it like:

<pv> => <vg> => <lv> => <drbd> => <iscsi>
