If I understand this correctly, this is possible if the domU uses a drbd 
device directly.
If I understand *you* correctly, you want to use an LVM on a DRBD 
device. I'm not sure if it would work this was.

If you let Xen do the DRBD work and setup heartbeat to manage the Xen 
domUs, you can achieven high available Xen domains. You can even 
live-migrate using Linux-HA with Xen and DRBD.
