[DRBD-user] New to the list and a ?

Hi all, just started with drbd about a week ago and am testing it. So far
everything looks pretty good but I have one question. Whenever I reboot the
drbd servers they will both come up as secondary/secondary and I always need
to do drbdadm primary r0. 

 

Is there a way to fix this? I guess this was listed as by design in 8.2 but
shouldn't the system know on a clean shutdown what was primary before? I
have also tried to disconnect and then stop drbd and then reboot and still
the same thing. 

 

Any help appreciated

 

FYI: I am testing this with FC7/drbd8.2/iet .4.15 with ESX3. Im mounting the
drbd0 in IET and then attaching to it via esx3 console. So far looks like it
works ok, if anyone has any caveats or things to look for that too would be
welcomed by the newb!
