direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

Well, it seems that my cohort here at work went to set up the latest
stable drbd with vanilla kernel 2.6.18 and found that it was looking for
some devfs header files. As I understand it, devfs was removed from the
kernel as of 2.6.18. Are we looking at a situation where we've got no
version of drbd that works with the current kernel, or are we just doing
something stupid.

I double checked with him, and it sounds like we're running off the
kernel that was just compiled from that source (we needed Areca
support).

If this is just a no current kernel situation, is there any estimate of
how long before there's a new version of drbd? Should we try the current
CVS? He said he tried the 0.8pre that's current too, but with the same
results. Should we just go back the 2.6.17.x?

Sorry if this is a rehash.. I subscribe to the mailing list, but I don't
always read everything.. I tried a quick search of the archives and
didn't see anything..

Thanks,

Jeff
