[DRBD-user] General Question about writing

Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

DRBD-7 (the current stable version) does not support this.

You would need to use DRBD-8 AND you would need to run a filesystem on
top of DRBD that supports multiple concurrent nodes with write access.

Subject: [DRBD-user] General Question about writing

Hi,

we plan two nodes sharing one drbd volume. Both nodes will be writing
files of 1 MB size sometimes even at the same time.
is it a problem for drbd to write at the same time on both ends here ?
sorry if this is a stupid question.

I just read somewhere something that drbd can't write
simlutaniously...somewhere in docs..

thx

Chris
