Hey all. I'm about to build out a pair of Xen servers that I want to make HA with DRDB. What this boils down to is me having a bunch of LVM volumes, some of which I would like to mirror with DRDB. I'm still getting my bearings with LVM and with DRDB, so I'm a little confused. But I think this means I'm going to want to put DRDB on top of LVM, which, as near as I can tell from the archives, isn't a problem with current versions. My big question though is what happens when I expand an LVM volume. How does DRDB deal with that? Do I have to expand the secondary, then the primary? Other way around? Do I have to expand both partitions before I expand either filesystem? If I ever want to shrink a partition, does DRDB deal with that? Has anybody else done something similar?
