- it is a self compiled standard 2.6.15 kernel from kernel.org without 
any patches.

- 2 pentium III cpus as smp.

- the subsystem for DRBD is a Adaptec 29160 Ultra160 SCSI adapter 
conected with an easyRAID F8 storage device.
