With MySQL replication (unless you move to their cluster product) only
one machine is the master at a time. The others are just read slaves.

DRBD + MySQL is useful if you want to keep a hotbackup of your master
MySQL instance. MySQL replication is handy if you have a lot of read
requests (i.e.. PowerDNS using a MySQL backend).
