[DRBD-user] raid md

Hi all,

This is a little OT, but in my efforts to achieve more and more storage to
replicate via drbd, as cheaply as possible, I considered using a software
RAID 5 solution running on a dedicated linux RAID MD/DRBD box.

I would like to know if anybody currently does this? In researching linux
software raid md, I read that the driver is not being actively developed
anymore (?) and this is obviously a concern... is EVMS a replacement for the
md raid  driver?
