Please use the boot parameter "nmi_watchdog=1", that will help in case
it is a deadlock on a spinlock.

XFS was not working with the 0.6.x releases of DRBD. Nowadays there are no
known issues regarding XFS on top of DRBD. We (LINBIT) have a few XFS/DRBD
clusters in production.
