[DRBD-user] [Q] What does it mean that bdev hardsect is the "wrong" size?

Note: "permalinks" may not be as permanent as we would like,
direct links of old sources may well be a few messages off.

Here's a message I came across in my logs:

May 20 15:16:28 [kernel] drbd4: Meta data's bdev hardsect_size != 512
May 20 15:16:28 [kernel] drbd4: Workaround engaged (has performace impact).

What does this mean?
