I'm sure you wouldn't anyway, but I would suggest you stay away from
3ware cards. It's not really a pitfall of "drbd with 3ware".. it's just
a pitfall of the 3ware I think. We had horrible performance problems
that we tried for months to correct. We tried with 9xxx series and 8xxx
series cards from 3ware and never got anywhere. Finally, after having
changed *everything* else out we finally changed to an areca card, and
now life is good.
