In reply to 2005-March/002662.html: Compiling drbd-0.7.10 on RHEL3 (2.4.21-4.ELsmp, CONFIG_MODVERSIONS=y) under the root account fails with "invalid suffix...", but there is no problem under a non-privileged account. So: only use root for make install.
