[DRBD-user] Slow sync speeds

The systems are currently running in a 'SyncingAll' state, doing the initial full sync. You asking about that is making me think that this initial sync is copying everything off of the primary system to the secondary... even blank space.. so it's an exact image. If that's the case, then I apologize... 3 and a half hours to copy an entire image of a huge partition is not bad at all. The initial syncing should be done in about an hour.. after that, I should be able to play around with it some more and see how quickly the changes show up. 

Thanks for the suggestion.. I should have thought about that before asking.

Are the two systems running in a connected state and have completed a 
full sync before you've started these tests?

If DRBD is copying data at 11,252 KB/s, network throughput wouldn't seem 
to be your problem.
