<p dir="ltr">Do you have permissions to write to that folder? More importantly, does the user csync2 runs as have permission to write there? Also, you may want to create a log directory and check that output to see what's going on.</p>

Hi,<br>

I configured csync2 to sync some directories between 2 hosts on my<br>
local network. It works quite good, but *never* creates backups for<br>
modified files. The config file contains:<br>
<br>
backup-directory /var/backups/csync2;<br>
backup-generations 4;<br>
<br>
as described in the documentation. The backup directory exists and is<br>
writable by the user.<br>
Did I miss something?<br>
