[Csync2] csync2 over SSH ?

Hello list,

I would like to use csync2 in a cluster of hosts that already have
full-mesh SSH connectivity and keys set up.  I understood csync2 uses
it's own server and port and SSL certificates.

How difficult would it be to make csync2 reuse the SSH infrastructure
in a similar way that rsync can be run over SSH ?

In particular I want to
- avoid managing the SSL certs
- avoid the other port which means configuring intermediate firewalls
- avoid running a separate server process (additional security risk)
