[Csync2] Preserving file ownership by user/group string

Hi.

In the absence of a --numeric-owner or --numeric-ids argument most
file tools (such as rsync and tar) will preserve file ownership by
setting the target file's owner to the result of a lookup by
*user/group strings* and then fall back to using the source UID/GID if
that lookup fails. This allows the tools to function in situations
where hosts have necessarily differing /etc/passwd and /etc/group
files, as is my case.

How much effort would be required to modify csync2 accordingly, and
what is the likelihood of such a feature being developed or accepted
in future?

Thanks for such a useful tool.

Warm regards,

Tez
