[Csync2] Won't build

I am trying to build Csync2 on Fedora Core 4. The configure script dies at:

Checking for SSL_new in -lgnutls-openssl

Now I am certain that that library is installed... I am looking at it in
/usr/lib. Is there something I can do to the configure script to force it to
find the library? A "./configure --withSSLlib=/usr/lib" sort of thing?
